Query Text:

Trying to locate the parents of Vera(Beatrice) Robinson (maiden: Wiggins). Her death certificate indicates: Vera Robertson b.04/19/1896, death 11/1936 in Center, TX. Father: Jack(John) Wiggins, Mother: Mollie or Nellie Patten(data not legible). We were informed that she was born in Geneva, TX, then lived with grandmother Lurinda Patten (b.GA.) in 1900 U.S. Census, then with her parents housekeeper Henrietta Roberts in 1910 U.S.Census. They all resided in Sabine County, TX(U.S.Census lists her as Beatrice Wiggins...1900-1910), she is listed as Beatrice Robertson under her spouse Rob (Robert) Robertson in the San Augustine Co, TX...1920 U.S.Census. She mothered five children, of which all are deceased at this present moment, but Barbara(Robertson) Robinson (83Yrs old). She states that her grandfather(? Wiggins) had a plantation in Sabine Co.,TX, and that there was a male(? brother - last name Brooks)also lived with her and her parents in Texas. We have no knowledge as to where the Wiggins originated nor birth, death, marriage, or state records. In addition, do not know if her parents, and grandparents (Wiggins) passed away, as for the reasons of her living with her grandmother (Patten), or housekeeper. We were told that she/family was of the Choctaw Indian Tribe. We have one photo of her with long silky black hair(hair split down the middle w/two long braids), other photos are in the state of California.
