 Trying to find ancestors of John IRVING and Elizabeth CARPENTER. John was supervisor of excise Sydney. I'm descended from their son John Celestine IRVING, married Lucy CHESTER 1871 Sydney. John and Lucy had son James David IRVING. John Celestine IRVING was mariner and usual residence was on board ship. Apparently died from 1871 onwards.Relatives tell me he died at sea. Cannot find any record as yet.Are there any IRVINGS out there who have same connecting tree?
