I am looking for any information on my g-g grandfather, Daniel Samual Huff and his wife Barbara Baughman-Huff. They lived in Coffeyville from about 1878 until about 1905. They had three sons William (Bill) Huff, b.1879, Zenith Ernest Huff b. 1882 and Dick Owen Huff b. 1887 in Burr Oak, KS. Daniel Huff and his family went down to Indian Territory, Custer County, in 1888 to look for work and as soon as they arrived there, Daniel got sick and died. He was burried there and Barbara said in a letter, that she wanted to move him to Robins Cemetary in Coffeyville in the spring. I don't know if she ever did. She then returned to Coffeyville, KS and married Frank Albert Oram in 1900. Frank had a daughter named Mossie Belle Oram who was born in Coffeyville, KS on Feb. 28, 1891. They then moved to Tacoma Washington. Ernest Huff married Erva Noyes and had a daughter named Uereda Huff. The Noyes family was in Coffeyville KS in the late 1800's and early 1900's also. Erva Noyes-Huff and Uereda Huff are supposed to be buried in Coffeyville, but I have no record of this. If you are researching any of these surnames, I would love to exchange information and photos with you. Karen | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
