Hello, I have been trying to find any connection or marriage involving Wheat and Johnston families from Tennessee. I'm looking for W. H. Johnston. It is thought that he went by "Wheat Johnston". One of his grandsons, Daniel Wheat Johnston was supposed to be named for him. We don't know what the W.H.stands for, but "Wheat" sounds like it might have been a family name. It is not for sure that he came from Tennessee, but his Wife Sarah Elizabeth Morris came from Maury Co. TN. to Anderson County, Texas. They were definitely married in Anderson Co. in 1872.
