Looking for family info on Isreal and William Broshears from Pike County, Illinois. They and several other members of the family died of cholera about 85 miles east of Fort Kearney, Nebraska in June of 1850. Israel was married to Catherine Troutman Simmons. He was a riverboat pilot and later a farmer.
