I am looking for an Ellen Moran who married a George Morse in 1866 in Boston. Her parents are listed as James Moran and Mary. I believe she was born about 1841 in Ireland. The 1870 census lists a son for George and Ellen named James Ellison aged 5. In 1880, James is listed as Morse. It appears this is not the son of George but is maybe a son of Ellen from a previous marriage. James went by the name of James Henry Edison but eventually changed to James E. Morse. He was born about May 1865 in either Malden, Cambridge or Boston. I have not been able to find his birth record. His marriage record indicates James Morse but father as George Edison Morse and mother as Ellen. I would like to know if Ellen was married previously to a Edison. Or is George Morse really his father but James born before their marriage. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
