I recently received information showing that my ancestor, William J. ROBERTSON, enlisted in Company H, 125th Illinois Infantry Regiment, on August 8, 1862, and mustered September 3, 1862. His residence was listed as Piatt Co., Illinois. He was discharged on June 9, 1865. He is listed in the muster roll as William ROBINSON. I would like to find out where in Piatt County he lived, why he was there, and where he was before he came to Piatt County. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
