My name is Chuck Grothaus and I am searching for my birth mother. I was adopted in May 1965 in Sioux City, Iowa (Woodbury County). I was born in the Methodist Hospital there (now called St. Luke's Hospital). My birth mother's last name was Bosworth. I do not know her first name. I believe she was from LeMars, Iowa or another nearby community. The adoption was coordinated by friends of my family and physicians, not an agency, so the only legal documents are the court sealed documents in Clay County, Iowa where my adoptive parents lived at the time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
