I am looking for any information concerning Jacque Puech, who lived in Orleans Parish, Louisiana from the 18 to the beginning of the 19th century. An inventory for Jacque Puech was done in 1807 in New Orleans. He must of died that year. I believe that he might have owned my gggg grandmother,Caroline because a year later, the unnamed widow of a Puech sold Caroline to Francois Pitre of Opelousas, Louisiana. She was 13 years old and lists her birthplace as a Louisiana born creole. Ten years later, another inventory lists her born on the East coast. Any info about Jacque Puech or any other Puechs before then will be helpful. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
