I am researching the Shelton and Winston families of Louisa Co. VA, Stokes & Guilford Counties, NC and those Shelton's who lived in Covington, Tipton, TN. I am descended from Richard Shelton, b.1779 Louisa Co., VA,- d.1842 Greensboro, NC. Richard married Frances Barnett, b.1790 Louisa Co., VA - d.1849 Greensboro, NC.
