My grandmother was descended from William Daxon who emigrated to the US from Kilmoran, near Ennis, County Clare in 1849. I am attempting to locate the family coat-of-arms, crest, or motto but am told that DAXON was most likely spelled differently at one time. I would like to know any other earlier spelling. Thank you.
