Geoffrey Ellwood, he was born in 1903 in London, England as Josef Heidelberger Ellwood and Emigrated in 1925 to America.He worked in New York but later moved to Golbertsville, Marshall County in Kentucky.He died there in 1994.His brother William Ellwood was my grandfather.Our branch of the family remains in England.There was also a sister Mary Winifred Ellwood who married a Kurt Lowenthal.They became the Lowells and settled in New York also.When Curtis Lowell died Mary married a Harry Harvey and moved to California.Does anyone out there know of these American families ?
