Researching the soldiers of the 35th Alabama Infantry Regiment from Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence and Madison Counties Alabama. It formed at LaGrange March 12, 1862 under the command of Col. James Robertson. Lowe Dement was the 1st Colorbearer, my ancestor Marcus DeLafayette Green was the 2nd, and his brother-in-law Robert Wheeler was the last having been killed at Franklin, TN. I would like to know more about the other soldiers who made up the regiment. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
