Ernest Reginald Lloyd Jr. b. November 26, 1899 in Llanbradach, Wales; came to America in 1912 with his mother, Ellen Edwards LLOYD and his siblings. He tried to join the US Army during WWI but was refused because he was not yet a US citizen. I'm told he went to Canada to join, and I have a picture of him in uniform. But the uniform does not look Canadian, and I cannot find him in military records there. I suspect he really joined the British, but can't seem to locate where he joined and what group(regiment or whatever) he was associated with.
