I am looking for information on my ancestors Elisha Day, Sr. and Jane Acker (? Akison, Atkinson) Attestation of their marriage reads: 1823 Elisha Day of the Parish of Sheffield in the county of Sunbury and Jane Acker of the same parish were married by license 04/01/1823 by David Burne ISU John Dinsmore and John Brown Any information on this couple would be appreciated. Elisha's death date is May 3, 1878 age 89 which would make his birth year 1788/89. Census give his birth place sometimes as Maine, sometimes as N.B.
