Looking for birth parents (unmarried) of David Charles Frick, born at University of Iowa hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa, on February 16, 1950. David was adopted through the Lutheran Social Services shortly after birth to a couple in Clinton, Iowa, now deceased. His birth mom was age 17, 5' 8" tall, had blond hair and brown eyes, is said to have a sister, worked in a kitchen at a sanatorium (there was an Oakdale Tuberculosis Sanatorium near Iowa City or North Liberty, Iowa which is now a prison), had quit school to take care of her mom who died of cancer at age 46. Birth mom had an 8th grade education. David's birth father was in WWII, was Catholic, worked at his brother's business when he got out of the Navy, was age 25 and possibly had gone to college. If anyone has information on the birth parents of David William Frick, please get in touch with him. We are doing genealogy and cannot begin on his because of not knowing who the birth parents were.
