 I am searching for information on the John Lamont family that came from England in 1878 to the USA, also the Thomas Lewis family that came from Scotland in 1881. I am trying to fill in loose ends. John Lamont was married to Jennet Bried and had a son David, David b 1871 England married Edith Lewis b 1874 Wales d/o Thomas Lewis and Jane Cousins. John and Jennet Lamont had children: David, James, Margaret,Jane and Jennet. Thomas and Jane Lewis had children:Mary Jane, David, Anna, Maria M, Thomas, Arthur, Edith and Elizabeth David Lamont and Edith Lewis had children:John Thomas, Edith, David Baird, Ethiel Jane, Robert, Agnus Henritta, Lewis and Jennet.
