Looking for Jerome Greer, he was born around 1811 and was born in Virginia and later moved to Oregon had a saw mill aand then to Concord California and he was a farmer on a 1890 census. The census also stated his father was from Ireland. His wife was Mathilda(Blair) Greer and she too was from Virginia and her daughter Mary married Walter Forward in Oregon. Trying to find where they are buried, Contra Costa county found no record of them but found their son Jerome Jr. He has to be arouond close we think.
