My grandmothers uncle Ole J. Bakken emigrated to the USA on April 14th 1893. He was born in Sandsvaer/Hvittingfoss, Norway, on August 5th 1870, and passed away in New Richland, Waseca county, Minnesota on May 22th, 1944. He was married to Ingeborg Berg, born in Minnesota on February 13th 1879. We know that they had four sons and four daughters. My grandmother an her sisters had contact with Ingeborg an one of the sons Leroy some time, but it ended. I know that Leroy had one daughter Ruth born about 1930, she was married to Raphael Schultz an they lived outside Albert Lea MN or somewhere in that area. We would like to get in contact with our relatives in USA and hope someone can help us get in touch with theese peole or other descendants. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
