Query Text: |
My GGGrandparents were William Henry Winney and (Sarah) Elizabeth (Taylor) Winney, both of Grant County, Wisconsin. They were married ca. 1869. They had two daughters: Anna Elizabeth Winney (my GGrandmother) and Cora Winnie, both born between 1869-1873. My problem is this: for all the world, it looks like (Sarah) Elizabeth Taylor Winney's parents were Fountain Taylor (VI>WI) and Delilah McCann (MO>WI). Two records indicate this. But I have just come across a totally scholarly presentation (online, researched by several Taylor family members) which do have a "Sarah Taylor," but the description of who she married and where she lived is NOT my (Sarah) Elizabeth Taylor. This particular family, for some reason has many jogs and turns. Does anyone know if (Sarah) Elizabeth Taylor from Wisconsin is the daughter of Fontain and Delilah Taylor? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
