I am attempting to trace my family history to give to my own sons when they're older. I know I have a HUGE family, and I just got started, but I'm not having a whole lot of luck with some things. My grandmother is my only real source of information, but she is old and has a terrible memory these days, so it's hard to get any reliable info. She was born Mildred Inez Hall, in Lepanto, AR. Her parents are Joe Hall, and Edna Beatress Frye. That's as far as I've been able to get with either of them. She told me that her maternal grandmother's maiden name had been changed and she thinks that it was from Youngblood to Young, but this is another hazy memory. I'm not sure what her grandparent's first names were, but their surname was Frye. As for her paternal grandparents... I have no idea on those names, either. She's never mentioned her grandfather, and she just called her grandmother "Grandma Hall." My grandmother, Inez, married JC (James Carroll) Harvison of Marked Tree, Arkansas in 1949. They had 3 daughters, Donna Maria, Cody Dawn, and April LeAnn, though April did not survive beyond birth. I am Cody's oldest daughter. I am trying to find more information, as I'm putting this all together for my grandmother as a gift for Christmas perhaps, and I'd also like to be able to give it to my two sons when they're older. If you have any info you can provide me with, or if you think I might have some I can help you with, please be in touch. Thanks! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
