SAMUEL PAUL BRIGANTI: B.8 Oct 1912, d.31 Dec 1989, he was a lawyer, with Patterson, Belknapp, and Webb in NY, and possibly lived in Southbury New Haven CT. His wife possibly named Phyllis ? His parents: catherine Di Maio b. 15 Dec 1883 Castelvetrano, Sicily and Rosario Briganti. His mother died 16 Oct 1918 Harlen hospital NYC and his father was shot and killed by a Joseph Alessi in 27 June 1919. They lived on 218 Chrystie st his watch was stolen and he died in the hallway. They also lived on 64 first ave, NYC in 1918. His Parents are buried in Calvary Cemetery, Queens NY. He had two brothers: Eugenio b. 24 Jan 1914 and died Dec 1987 Queens ny, and Vincent (Jim), b. 14 Sept 1909 NYC, and d. 15 Mar 2000 NJ. after the parents died, the children were put in a home for some reason: two little ones, Eugene and Sam (Paul) were in Staten Island NY and the older brother Vincent was in the Bronx NY. Catholic homes. One of the brothers (Jim) may have lived in NJ when they got older...Desperate to find info on these boys..They are my mothers first cousins. Their mother Catherine Di Maio and my grandfather Charles Di Maio were siblings. Their father Rosario Briganti was born 15 Dec 1881 Italy, his parents were Vinangino Briganti & Conditto Sagio.
