Hello, My grandfather's name was Justiniano Pagan who was born on November 13, 1899 by parents who descended from Spain. As a young adult in Puerto Rico, he married my grandmother, Paula Alvarado (born in 1902 whose parents were actually cousins). They had my mother, the youngest of 9 children. Two were twin girls who passed away in infancy. My mom also has 4 older brothers (two are deceased) and two older sisters. A lot of our family is from Puerto Rico and some have branched out to New York as well. One important trait I must mention about our family history (especially on the Alvarado side), is that twins run in the family. I'm actually one myself. I don't know if this means anything to you, but I figured I'd pass along the information. Like you, I'm interested in learning more about my ancestry.
