I am looking for information on Michael Melville and Ellen Sweeny (Sweeney). They were both born in County Clare, Ireland, probably in Kilrush. They were married in Kilrush, County Clare in 1864. They had at least three children: Michael, born 11 June 1868, in Carrigaholt, Kilrush, Clare, Ireland, Patrick, born 21 November 1869 in Kilrush, Clare, and Joseph, born 26 August 1871. Michael (JR.) and Patrick came to the United States with Michael arriving before 1905 and Patrick in 1905. Patrick married the former Ellen Curtin and had a son, Patrick who was born 2 February, 1895 in Kilrush. I have an extensive tree which is sourced.
