Looking for fellow researchers for the Dunham family of Erie County, New York. I have William Dunham, married to Lurena Sawtell, living in Akron in the first part of the 1800s. Daughters Lucy Sophia and Lurinda were born there. I believe they had other children, a son named Luke perhaps? A daughter Elizabeth? Lucy (Sophia) married Joshua Lacey Wilson Brown in Akron around 1844. Lurinda married Watkin Powell of Pennsylvania. William fought in the war of 1812. I do not know if he was living in the Akron area at that time or not. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
