Jerry Hampton Metz- Hi i am looking for any relatives that are living now. we recently found out my husbands grandfather is dead. now we're tring to find any family still alive. we know he was from roanoke virginia. his obit says he has several brothers and sisters. in a 1910 census my husbands grandfather jerry h metz was living as a boarder with his sister hattie metz, with s.r. norvelle.He was the son of william and minnie metz of roanoke virginia. he married my husbands grandmother in 1948 in ws nc ( audrey klobas ) they divorced in 1951 where he lived in pasquotank co nc, between 1951 and 56? he lived in lumberton. there he married a strickland? then they moved to birmingham alabama where he was shot in the abdomen with a pistol and killed.
