I am searching for the family of John Louis Banks, died Feb. 6, 1906. He was the son of Thomas Banks of Fayetteville, Washington County, AR. His mother was Parthena Gordon, sister to my direct ancestor Mary Elizabeth "Polly" Gordon who married William Skelton. There is reason to believe that the elder Banks and Skeltons came to Texas during the Civil War. | |||||||||||||||||||||
