I am looking for any information on Herbert Edward TEARE born Prestwich near Manchester England June 1889 Parents were Annie Eliza nee (PROBERT) and Benjamin Thomas TEARE England He married prior to coming to Australia but I don't know the first wife's name divorced in 1917 He then married Edith Mary Ward in Melbourne Australia 25th January 1917 He enlisted in WW1 in Melbourne. I have his record. His wife shifted to Sydney whilst he was overseas. They had three children Muriel Warden, Dorothy Edith, and Neville Edward. Herbert was an accountant for a manufacturing firm when his daughter Dorothy was born in 1917 In 1926 he wrote a book for this firm I think and was still in Sydney. He left his family after sometime after WW1 in Sydney and supposedly went to Melbourne to look for work. He died in Manley hospital in Sydney 1972. Muriel married Joseph CLEARY second marriage Syd MULROSS Dorothy Married Thomas HARDMAN Where did he go? What did he do?
