Can anyone help me out concerning my search for a Sister Edith Geddes who was a deaconess around the Cheltenham, Glouchestershire area about 1887-1890. She was the guardian of my great -great- grandmother Florence Jane Smith who lived with her Uncle Edward Smith in Cheltenham . Sister Edith brought her over to Quebec Canada, around 1887-1889. We believe she went back to England after my gggrandmother Florence Jane married in 1889. Would like to find out as much information concerning this nun or deaconess.Perhaps someone can give me a suggestion as to how to proceed in this search. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
