Here is what I know so far. My g grandpa James Henry Green b. Mar 1 or 3 1880 or 1883. His Social Security Application states his mother as Martha Hines and father as James Calvin Green. I have a picture of James and he favors William "Bill" Green of Stone County Ar. The Batesville Guard Newspaper published an article "A Glance at days gone by" March 16-22, 1991, page 12. This article was sent to my grandmother, Bertha Elizabeth (Green ) Pinkston. James Green and Bill Green (a full-blooded Chickasaw Indian) look like each other a lot.
