Researching the George Scales family of Ontario - 1850 on, George was English, his wife was scotish - Catherine Craig, they lived at Londesborough, Ontario. They were my great grandparents. Their daughter Katherine married David Samuel (MAYNARD) Watson on June 21 1911, they left Ontario as newlyweds and settled in Vetern, Alberta. Is there anyone out there related to us in any way? Kate died when my Mother was 3 years old , so she knew little of her history. Believe Kate was a school teacher, 2 of her daughters became teachers also - my mom Beth was one of them and Eleanor was the other. Mom was the youngest. There was an older sister to Kate called Agnes, likely there were more children born to George and Cathereine. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
