I am a descendant of John Cain of Taunton who married Annah Barrows of Middleboro May 4, 1786 at the Lakeville and Taunton Precinct Congregational Church. I have been trying to find out, perhaps through published marriage intentions in Middleboro, the names of John Cain's parents.
