I'm looking for the parents of my ancestor Sir John Alley, born c. 1490. Some sources say he was born in France, others say he was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. He was mayor there from 1499-1500, and I believe he married a lady named Agnes. Any help is appreicated. I've seen variations of the name Alley as: "Allye" and "Aley". | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
