I am looking for any information on the children of Whilliam Shaw born may 24, 1935 husband of Priscilla Belton bon Jan 13, 1853. The children are William H. b. July 5, 1872, Nelson Sylvester (my grandfather) b May 3, 1878, Almira b Mar 28, 1875, John E. born Oct 7 1879, Viola M. born sep 19, 1882, Nancy B. born Oct 30, 1884, Benjamin S. born Jan 13, 1888, Irene B. born Sep 1, 1889 and Emerson born Oct 29, 1895. I found the above in the 1901 census record. I believe William was Married to Priscilla Belton on dec 14 1870 in Belleville Ont and resided in Thurlow Township, Hastings County. William was the son of Matthew Shaw, of Ireland And Mary Laurence. I also understand that Emerson, Irene, Viola, spent their married lives in Oshawa Ontario.
