My great great grandmother's maiden name was Rowland. Her full name was Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rowland, born 24 Feb 1862. We have been told in IL but now we're not so sure. She married A. L. Headrick 9 Nov 1887 in Alsea, Benton, Oregon. Her parents were Dr. William Henry Rowland, born about 1832, and Sarah Melinda Tharp, born 1837 in Tazwell, IL. The Rowland and Tharp families moved to the Willamette Valley in Oregon sometime between 1840 and 1870. This is all I know of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
