My GG Grandfather was John McManemy, born circa 1816/19 in Ireland but immegrated to Ontario,Canada before 1837 as he married there that year. He was a Protestant and a farmer according to the Canadian Census in 1851 and 61 going by the name of McManama, McMenemy, McManamy and McManamie and McManmy in Michigan in 1870. His father was from Scotland but I don't know his parents first names or where any of them were born except John in Ireland and that is just the Country. I sure need help!! Thank you.
