My GGrandfather was said to be born in Arkansas. With his father born in Alabama. My GGGrandmother's name was Louisa E.(Maiden name uk) Pitts, She later John G. Worden in St. Francis County, Arkansas in 1877.I find them in 1880 census in Arkansas. The children are wards of John G. Worden and Louisa, but can't find papers to that. Charles Henry Pitts is my GGrandfather, who moved to Texas and married 3 different times. Would love to get to the bottom of this, been stuck here for six years now trying to make a connection to the Pitts who father to Charles Henry and Ira Absolom, Thanks for any help...
