John F O'Donnell dob Dec 1854 in Co Cork Ireland married Bridget Doherty dob Feb 1861 in Co Cork. They married Jan 26 1881 in Carndonagh Co Donegal. John F parents were John O'Donnell and Elizabeth Carney. Bridget's parents were Neil Doherty and Margaret(?). John F had two brothers (at least) Peter and Patrick. Bridget had at least two sisters Ellen and Mary. John F and Bridget immigrated to MA/USA April 13, 1881. Settled first in Stoneham Ma(about 10 miles no. of Boston) and after their 3rd child was born, moved into Boston(No End). They had several children who were cousins to my grandmother and her siblings. My grandmother was MaryAnn O'Donnell dob July 28, 1873. Her parents were James O'Donnell and Susan White Doherty. Siblings were Patrick(1867) John(1868)Neal(1871) Maggie(Margaret-1875)Denis(1878) and Philip(1880). I am trying to determine which side of the family the cousin connection was on. I wonder if James O'Donnell(Mary Ann's father) and John O'Donnell(John F's father) were siblings and or if Bridget and Susan Doherty were family. That would explan better why the marriage took place in Carndonagh co Donegal. Later in 1930 Patrick and John O'Donnell were living in Brighton Ma around Market Street area. I would love to find out who Susan's family was as well as who Bridget's mothers family was. along with anything else. Peter and Patrick O'Donnell, Ellen and Mary Doherty.
