Alphonso YOUNG b. Smith Co., TN 1805 d. 1864 Cass Co. NE, married Nancy Jane ROBINSON IN 1829 SUMNER, TN--CHILDREN: Levi, Aley, John, James, Henry, Joseph R., and Daniel. Father was John YOUNG, and I think his mother may have been Aley B. Witcher daughter of Daniel and Susannah Witcher. He was quite active in the Mormon Faith, helping to build the Temple at Nauvoo, IL...and later in IA.. Grandfather was William YOUNG, married to Draper.
