Adam Acker Deen's parents were Isaac Daniel Dean born 1787 and died 1853 in Thomasburg, Ontario. Adam Acker Deen was born in 1811 in Thomasburg. He had a brother Jabez born 1813, a sister Eliza Ann born 1810 that married James Lake of Ernestown, Ontario and another sister Mariah born 1812 who was a second wife of a Thomas Clare who died in Thomasburg as well. Adam Acker Deen married Letitia Beatty who was born in 1821. He was a blacksmith and one of his sons Jabeze Smith Deen was also a blacksmith.His other children were William H, May A., David B, Catherine, Letitia Mariah,Catherine and Eliza.The family were originally from the USA and I am trying to find the link. Adam's son Jabeze called my great grandfather Adam Acker Dean and I am wondering if the Acker family married into the Deen family at some point.I am still looking for May A or it could be Mary A, Catherine and David B Deen.
