I am searching for my grandfather, John Dorris Nolley. I know he was born sometime in 1924 to an Alice Nolley, I can't remember his father's name. He served at the rank of technical sergeant in the Army Air Force as a gunner and flight engineer all throughout World War II in the Pacific theater, although I do not recall which unit he was a part of. He died in September of 1983, shortly before my second birthday. Sadly, I never was able to know him. I'm told I am his spitting image by a lot of people that knew him. Unfortunately, I am not sure where he is buried. I have his death certificate which lists him being buried in Tippah Memorial Gardens in Ripley, Mississippi, but I can find no record online of him being there. I am desperate and hoping for any information on a man I never got to know. Any help would be welcome...even if a phone number I can call to track him down would help tremendously. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
