Query Text: |
Hello all. I am looking for information on my surname, Swartz. In order, present to past, my family tree consists of, well, me. William Ray Swartz Jr, born to William Ray and Patricia Irene (Gingerich) Swartz on August 21, 1979. My father was the youngest of four boys, oldest to youngest, Donald Clyde (3/6/1935), David Howard (5/17/1941), Dalone Leroy (1945), and then of course, William Ray (3/17/1951). My grandparents were Howard Leroy (12/3/1912) and Sylvia Elizabeth (Fishel) (8/21/1916) of southern Tork Co, PA. My grandfather was one of 6, once again from oldest to youngest, Stewart, Mary, Howard, Paul, Lloyd and Russel, all born to Walter (born circa 1870-1890’s) and Estella (Henry) Swartz. Walter had siblings, but the number is unknown as are the names, though we believe they are buried in Glen Rock, PA at the Stone Lutheran Church Cemetery. My father thinks there were 13, all born to Elizabeth Swartz and (?) Althouse (Althause, Althauser). Elizabeth never married, but we believe she stayed with Mr. Althouse. I would like to know of the Althouse, and his family, considering technically that’s what my name is supposed to be, and of course, any relatives from Elizabeth back. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
