Cooper - Looking for info on Cooper descendants of Thomas & Rebecca Wilson Cooper (her father was Robert Wilson)and their descendants. They had 10 children (Hiram being one them which is who our line descended from). Hiram married Susannah Franklin (Her parents were Richard & Sarah Phillips Franklin). They had 13 children. Hiram was born approx 1810/ They settled in the area known as Augusta Co & Harrison Co, VA but we have reason to believe that Thomas McClain Cooper and Rebecca came from Cumberland sometime in the late 1790's or early 1800's to the area where we currently live and modst of Hiram's line stayed in this area as well. Later after the civil war Harrison Co, VA was split to become Harrison Co, West Virginia & Taylor Co, West Virginia.
