I am searching for information on my great grandfather's family. His name was William Connolly born 1890 in London England. His father's name was William Edword Connolly and his mother's name was Annie (England) Connolly. His father fought for the Irish Dragoons in the Boer War where he was injured and later died of infection, because of this his mother could not support all the children and the boys were sent to the Barnardo Home and later split up and sent to different countries. My ggf was sent Canada. His brother Archibald Thos Connolly born 1893 was also sent to Canada. I know he married Alice Helen Humphry but have lost him from that point. I am also looking for his brother John & his twin sister Ethel born 1900. Also his brother Charles and another sister Elizabeth. The children from the Barnardo home were known as "Home Children". Rumour was that Charles may have been sent to India, I do not have confirmation on that though.
