I would like very much to find William E. Stearns born about 1857, Civil Engineer who was living with his widowed mother in Rutland, Vermont in the 1880 Census. Stearns received a patent in 1890 for the Stearns Truss Bridge. I would like to find where he ended up and his drawings of that bridge because one of those rare bridges has survived in Indiana and is being restored. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
