Need help in locating data on my GGgrandfather Michael Donovan. He married Ellen Fitzgerald, and they had at least 1 son John F. Donovan born in 1840 in Boston. I have census and Civil war papers that confirm this. John F. married Ellen clooney (b. 1844 in St John's Newfoundland). They were married in 1867 in Boston, Mass. I cannot find any record of Michael Donovan in the Census records. TIA for any help. Loring H
