SLACK : SUNDERLAND

Query Text:

I am seeking membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution under Peter Sunderland, a confirmed Patriot. I need to prove, however, that he had a son named John Patterson, possibly born Feb. 4, 1770 in Mercer, NJ and died Jan. 18 (don't know year) in Trenton. He married Elisebeth Slack in 1791(or4) and had a son, Lloyd Wells who went to settle in Jerseyville, IL. There is documentation of Peter's son Dye but I can't find proof of John Patterson. Thanks in advance for any assistance! Laura
