I am interested in finding out about my father's parents. His name is Ray S. Ainsworth. His mother's name was Vera Oakes Benson. Her first husband's (my dad's father) last name was Ainsworth. I do not know his first name. I know that my grandfather Ainsworth's mother was Indian, supposedly Cherokee. I would like to know my dad's father's name as well as the names of his mother and father. I am trying to trace the native American history in my family, particularly. I know Vera Oakes Benson was from Mexia, Texas and later lived and died in Fort Worth, Texas.
