Looking for William Thomas, born in Pembray Carmathenshire, Wales in 1843 and the names of his two wives. He died in Bridgend, Wales June 2, 1925. Thomas is such a common name, I can't figure out who he is descended from. After his first wife died (maybe Mary Jones), he brought his 3 children to live with his sister (maybe Margaret, maybe married Evans) in the US -- Brazil, Indiana: David, Margaret and Mary Ann. 1. David was born on Aug 2, 1866 in Bridgend, Wales. He married Lucia Clementine Vego June 23 1894 in Carbon, Indiana, US. They had 4 children, the oldest of which is my grandfather: Nils Vegoe (12-23-1895 to 11-19- 1959), Vivian Helene (5-19-1900 to 1-12-1987), Eric Vandsandt (5-30-1902 to 1-17-72) Llewellyn (1897-1898). 2. Margaret born in Wales, married Elmer E. Bird in the US and had 3 children: Margaret (1895), William Russell(1898) who moved to St. Louis, Mo and Elmer Ellsworh (1902). 3. Mary Ann (maybe married John). After bringing his children to the US,William Thomas returned to Wales, remarried (wife's family name -- Llewellyn) and had three more chldren: 1. William (became an estate agent in Australia; 2. Alice (married Margon) and became a nurse; 3. Ada (married Percy). Any information that can identify William Thomas's parents and wives' names is appreciated. Also would like more information about each of his 6 children. Thank you.
