I am searching for information on the Daniel Maloney family of Butler County , Pennsylvania. Daniel was born October 17 1845 in Butler County PA. We have no record of a definite location in Butler County, but it may have been at Maloney's Corners. Some family records indicate that his father's name was also Daniel and that his mother's name was Mary Wellings. There is some question as to the accuracy of her (Mary Wellings) maiden name. Daniel married Martha Jane Magee . Martha Jane was born at New Hope PA on January 4 1849 the daughter of James Magee and Eva Jane Barnes Magee. Daniel and Martha Jane had three children : William West Maloney (b. July 22 1866)) ; Henrietta Maloney (b.January 12 1969) and James D. Maloney (b. June 3 1871). Daniel was employed in the oil fields of Pennsylvania amd was later a farmer in Myoma, PA and in Cussewago Twonship, Crawford County, PA.
